The Trek gets a service

I collected the Trek from Brixton Cycles today. It had it’s first service and I learned that all services during the first year are free. But because it was a Monday and after 6pm I had to cycle into the West End to get the train home. I didn’t want to cycle all the way home. (I know I am lazy.) But I cycled through Vauxhall and then the Embankment. Lots of cycle paths. No heels as it was too hot. I wore handmade leather sandals and a dress with shorts underneath for when the wind caught my legs.

More shoes

I have discovered the joy of Spanish Shoes. They are generally quirky and very well made. This are my latest pair by Vialis brought at the Natural Shoe Store. No problems while on the bike, but then there shouldn’t be because I don’t own a racing bike with special pedals.

Not for Cycling

These amazing shoes by Prada are now part of the Victoria & Albert Museum Collection and on display in the new addition section. I wonder if there is a cyclist who owns and wears them.
