This evening I was wheeling the Brompton past Oxford Circus tube station when I was recognised. Well not me, my Camper shoes. I was stopped by A who is a reader of this blog because he remembered seeing my shoes on a previous blog post.
It was lovely to meet you A and I so enjoyed our chat. I will be looking out for your Racing Green Brompton with the leather saddle in South London.
NB: I am not an illustrator but thanks for the compliment.

You know what...a couple of months ago, I saw a lady with a black Brompton and nice shoes at Tottenham Court Road station...
Could this possibly have been you?
I was busy trying to retrieve my 50p coin that the machine had gobbled up...much to the amusement of the station attendants.

J. It was a pleasure to meet you too. I cannot believe it, the second day in a row I meet a reader of this blog!
Just dropped by to see your latest updates, and glad to find you as well-shod as always. The world feels very small when coincidences like that happen, doesn't it?
I ended up popping into Velorution on your recommendation, and bought myself a nice Brompton-made bag to sit right at the front of my handlebars. I've now realised the ideal of being able to cruise over to my nearby supermarket and sling both bag and bike into the trolley, which is just amazing.
It's a perfect, absolutely perfect Good Friday in London what a pleasure it was to cruise along the river on my smart new bike and find a spot on the river with the sun in my eyes and a tub of Haagen-Daz in my hands.
Please keep up the blogging!

Good to hear about your bag purchase and your trip along the river on Friday. I've got a pack of mini Magnums in the freezer that I will tucking into this week.
Enjoy the rest of the Easter break.
