Despite the fact it is November it has been fairly warm in London this week so I am enjoying biking while it lasts. The clocks went back at the weekend so it means I don’t leave home without my lights. There will be another vote in Parliament this winter to decide whether the UK clocks should continue to go back an hour. Once upon a time I said that they shouldn’t but now I am a morning person and I don’t like it being so dark until after 7.30 am.
I have not forgotten about the posts on bike bags, but I am not happy with the photos I have taken so I may do a re-shoot if I can.

We had that full time GMT+1 experiment 40 years ago.

In London you get sunrise at 0903 and sunset at 1653.
In Glasgow we get 0946 and 1645 respectively.
The earliest sunset is Dec 15th and the latest sunrise is Dec 29th. The day lengths are not symmetrical around mid day for technical reasons to do with the Equation of Time. It involves the rotation of the Earth and the shape of our orbit.
You can Google for analemma or equation of time if you want to pass an idle hour or so. The fastest change happens around the equinoxes and it flattens out near the solstices.
Gareth I have been lucky with my boots. I have never had wet feet.
It's so crowded i can't understand how can you get in with the brompton bike.
